Some random thoughts on AC shadows

As an old AC franchise fan, I liked AC shadows.
Most features/gimmicks in overall.

But then this was the first AC that I felt
‘Maybe the historical accuracy’ might not be the best thing always.

Not talking about Yasuke controversy or anything.

Except few castles, I felt this AC had the least ‘intriguing’ map/map design to parkour.
And I think it’s because the AC shadows followed too close to how feudal Japan building was at the time, so there was ‘less space’ to parkour.

Not much walls to climb and jump across, and there’s not much reason to.

I know the whole premise of Animus is to recreate the past era, but maybe Ubisoft could add a little creative touch to allow players to further use/explore the parkour mechanics?

As a gamer from South Korea, I used to wish there would be a AC with South Korean historic times.
But then AC shadows came out, and I realized ‘AC South Korea’ would not be much of a fun as well in parkour because the buildings/architectures would not much differ from ‘AC Japan’.
Both relatively low, not much protruding beams to stand on, not much walls to climb/jump on, etcetera etcetera.

I wish Ubisoft would add some creative touch to buildings to allow us dive more into parkour even if it means losing the ‘authenticity’, while keeping their ‘historical accuracy’ to the story/character narrative if the buildings aren’t too fit for parkour.
After all, parkour is one of the main reason I got into the AC franchise, and I’m sad to see it lose it’s value/strength when it meets with certain culture/architecture.

Has anyone else felt like this?

Pardon me if some vinyl terminology is a bit off. Not a native speaker, so I’m just using terms what I think best fits the ‘situation’.

I’ve recently opened a vinyl package that I’ve bought 3-4 months ago.
The sound quality is not an issue at all, but I’ve noticed the first disc has narrower hole than the second disc.

Second disc fits the turntable smoothly in & out. No trouble.
But first disc feels stiff when inserting on the turntable, and when taking the vinyl off the turntable, I’ve actually worried if I might warp/break the vinyl if I don’t control the force I’m giving to the vinyl disc.

If someone didn’t know I had trouble inserting disc from the first place, or if someone isn’t familiar with the vinyl/turntable, I actually think there’s a high chance that person may break the vinyl disc unwillingly.

But as I said, it’s been 3-4 months since my purchase and I’ve opened the sealed package. So I’d like to know if I can softly grind the center hole of the first disc to make it fit the turntable more smoothly.

Like using a soft sandpaper.

Is it possible? Or am I just screwed?
