C-section scar Endometrioma removal
Hi, I have a surgery planned in a few weeks for a laparascopy as well as removal of a c-section scar endometrioma. I've waited 1.5 years for this appointment but it has landed on the day before we take our children on holiday for the week. It's not an abroad holiday but is a three hour drive. I'm just trying to establish what recovery is actually like? I really dont want to cancel the surgery because living with this has been incredibly painful but am considering it if it's needed.
I've had four children, three of which were complicated c-sections so I know there is a lot of scarring there on top of the endo and the endometrioma. I've always pushed to be up and about as quickly as possible, usually within a day or two, but have then ended up with incisional infections or burst stitches from doing too much, too quickly so trying to be sensible this time and avoid that.
I just wondered if anyone has had similar surgery and could advise how the recovery went. Thank you.
