Essentially i’m soon to be a first time renter living with my girlfriend and two friends. When we agreed to move in together we made it clear that me and my girlfriend would be moving around June time. However both of our two friends don’t want to move till September. We have found some nice three beds however split between just me and my girlfriend, we can’t afford the rent alone for those couple of months.
Can any landlords advise how i could maybe approach the letting agency so that me and my girlfriend only pay our share of the rent while still being able to live with our friends from september?
Would a letting agency maybe take a holding fee for the remaining rooms of the apartment for the two months?
I have lowkey no idea how any of this works please help me!
