Hi all, My cousin and I are planning a motorbike trip somewhere in the world. We are both scottish but I've lived in Nz for about 20yrs. We both own superbikes and have raced MX (he was pretty good) so any type of riding is OK.
I want to spend a week or so riding round Nova Scotia as it looks fun (our last trip was NZ south Island on enduro bikes).
What time of year should we visit? What sort of bikes should we hire (or buy & sell if we have to) and what are the coolest little places or events we should try to go to (ideally Scotland and or motorbike/engineering/motorsport related). We would do anything from a 6 day enduro event if there was one to riding road bikes to cafes and eating too much.
I need to make a case for Nova Scotia while he is suggesting something in Asia :)
