I am a novice female who has never done this before and I need help.

Removed nest to replace with Amazon smart thermostat.
Had to get c wire adapter.

I can power the thermostat. I can run the fan. But the condenser will not turn on!

Photos of wiring at furnace, wiring to adaptor and wiring to new thermostat. I wrote down what the wiring looks like left to right from furnace to adapter to thermostat.

Fuses are okay. I put nest back on it does run normally. So I presume it’s my wiring that’s wrong.
