H1B stamp renew

I am originally from China, and my current employer submitted my H-1B application at the end of September 2025. Around 09/21/2025 there was news about a proposed $10,000 H-1B fee under Trump-era policy discussions. My application has since been approved, and I have successfully changed my status from F-1 to H-1B.

I have a few questions regarding travel and visa stamping. Should I return to China to renew my visa stamp so that I can travel internationally? Also, would it be better for me to travel before or after 09/21/2026 to avoid any potential issues related to that proposed fee or additional costs for my employer?

Additionally, I have a $900 airline credit with Royal Air Maroc that expires on 09/10/2026. Because of this deadline, I am trying to determine the best course of action so I can use the credit without creating complications for my visa status or my employer.

Will I have issues getting my visa stamp to come back?

Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
