My 14 month old who was sleep trained about at about 9 months for the past couple of weeks wakes once a night, stands up cries for 5 minutes then just sits back down and falls asleep. Weve had so so many set backs with sleep training where we've had to repeat, we haven't had many weeks of 0 crying to be honest. But is it cruel to leave her these 5 minutes? Am I effectively repeating sleep training every night. My worry is when I go in and help ill be reinforcing the wake and she'll get used to the help. Any time we intervene it seems to prolong the wake, but at this point im just so sick of leaving her.
