Hi everyone! I've been thinking of ways to grow this subreddit and increase interaction. I've noticed that this subreddit mainly focuses on posting fanart, so I hope that this change can help us enjoy the in-game character models, too!

Rules

The way it works is that there will be a character of the day/week, depending on how many responses I see, and we choose a category for each photo:

• serious photography ➜ in locations and environments of the game where his aesthetic matches the best; this is dictated by the background of choice and color choices and composition
• meme photography ➜ locations that you think it would be the funniest and most ironic considering his personality; this is dictated by the positioning of the camera and facial expressions that you choose on the character.
• cinematic framing photography ➜ in any in-game location where composition mimics film language; this is dictated by rule of thirds, depth layering, foreground framing, and perspective distortion; aim for screenshots that feel like movie stills (basically "serious," but advanced)
• chaos photography ➜ screenshots with visual clutter... on purpose

Maybe this is nothing and just a EN localization, but I really feel like we just glossed over this (I meant to post this during 4.0 but forgor), but Sampo and Himeko both greet each other as if they've known/met each other when we didnt see any of them interact.

Now perhaps Himeko does have a sort of "connection" to Sampo as they are both in Planarcadia as in, HImeko being from here and Sampo coming and going from the Tavern here alot, perhaps they've crossed paths before in the past?

If true then this implies their last meeting was a while ago, probably during Himeko's time home before she fixed the AE. I would argue they could be roughly the same age. Considering how Himeko says "this time" might suggest or cement that Sampo comes and goes frequently, perhaps for different things/reasons.

Perhaps old friends?

The original song name is not tagged on this video, so to save your time, the song is a Pasilyo by a Filipino music artist called SunKissed Lola. IT'S ACTUALLY SO GOOD. IT MATCHES. LIKE.
