I’ve played every single title since FIFA 96, but this is hands down the worst. Someone needs to sue EA for the psychological toll and the sheer waste of time caused by their deliberate in-game manipulation. The fact that they own the game and call the shots does not exempt them from being held accountable for the negative experiences their "promised product" inflicts on people.
The game engine manipulating players based on the match's progress is absolutely unacceptable for a title of this scale. The game decides on its own to slow down or speed up players and force passing errors based on their divisions or previous match history. It turns goalkeepers into gods one moment and useless "buckets" the next. I’m not even exaggerating: if the buffed side fails to score, the game goes as far as scoring goals itself—goals that even the opponent doesn't understand.
This game cheats someone every single minute because a team at EA, who thinks they are brilliant, built the system on this exact premise. Gents, if someone told you this would make the game fairer, you’ve been played. This isn't a justice system; it's a system designed to rob skilled players of their merit. Perhaps you were afraid that the good players would always stay at the top and the bad ones at the bottom, but I’m afraid that is actually the only fair system. That’s how we improve—by working to earn our place among the best. The artificial system you’ve built has the exact opposite effect.
I am calling on all fellow gamers to delete this game and boycott the next FC title, so we don't have to turn off our Playstations—which we open for a few hours of stress relief—feeling like a ball of nerves and rage.
It shouldn't be this easy to wreck people's nervous systems and cause collective unhappiness. You will be a happier person the moment you delete this game.
