Hey guys I recently just got this amplifier for my cassette deck and I haven’t been able to get any sound out of it. Do I need other speakers to play sound or should this be able to do playback? Also the guy that sold it to me included this black and yellow wire…any idea where that may go? Cheers!

Hi guys I recently just bought my first cassette deck. It is a Technics RS-641 and I love it. I have been having a problem with a static/humming noise out of my left speaker that I just purchased brand new. I am not familiar with the issues but I have cleaned the tape deck with 90% isopropol alcohol and tried pushing the play and stop button a few times….could anyone help me with advice?
