Anxiety on CAP Jammu waitlist ??
While i was too worried on whether i will convert in the IIM J waitlist, i thought to pen it down, rant it through reddit.
Having the borderline of the last year iim j cut off, how can i not be restless, anxious for the next whole month?
These are my viewpoints:
Goodside:
1.Lower Number of candidates in CAT, Lower Number of CAP applicants for Jammu, SO technically they have to offer more to get the desired count. ( ppl with 95 to 98 percentile who got offers wont come to CAP as much they did then)
2.Till last year 80-90% ppl in adv waitlist have converted.
3.From what i saw the adv wl for general came down to even ppl of 60 cs, why would they give like that, obv more offers.
Badside:
1.Last year there was Op sindhoor war issues, so more people opted out, this year no bad situation. So god knows the reducal of Cut off.
2.More number of advanced waitlist ppl, wonder who wont get the offer.
3.Since in Cap clg Jammu the most opt one, so obv the ones who get offer wont say no to it, (Most prolly)
These are the ones i found. I am also in the dire state of hoping to convert. Very anxious. Most prolly the 1st merit list be out the next week after EOI submission.
Based on the CS WL movement we would know.
