Patch to gel

I recently was unable to obtain my Sandoz 0.1mg twice weekly estradiol patch due to the shortage. I reached out to my prescriber to try switching to gel. She gave me a prescription for estradiol gel 0.06 percent at 1 pump per day. It is my understanding that 1 pump is only the equivalent to the 0.025 patch and that 4 pumps is the equivalent to the patch I am on. I spoke to her nurse several times and was told that, basically, I am getting 1 pump , that my prescriber is uncomfortable with prescribing anything higher. My worry is that my estrogen will tank when it has been extremely stable over this last year. Am I wrong in the dosing? I’m not sure how to get them to listen to my concerns. I have reached out to estrogel to see if they have conversion charts and literature that could be shown to my physician. Does anyone out there have official documentation/literature that a physician would respect?
