Puretec S6 water dispenser on but not dispensing water?

Hi all, I have this water dispenser that seems to act up every few days, where it’ll have lights on, but won’t dispense water. If I unplug it and leave it for 10 mins and plug it back in, it’ll magically work again. I’m assuming power means there’s nothing wrong with the hardware?

The button I’m pressing in the photo usually dispenses cold water. Currently not dispensing anything.

Sold apartment - do I need to pay rates?

I sold a unit and the settlement date is in the first week of June. The strata and council rates bill, even though it’s come in March, is not due until after settlement. Do I need to pay this or can I leave it for the buyer to sort out? My conveyancer tells me I have to pay but it’s not even due until post settlement, so I’m wondering how is it my problem? Unless it gets adjusted in my favour I’m really just paying for the buyers next quarter of rates out of good will. I’m just trying to get the full picture before I pony up 2K out of pocket.

Previous owner (AKA retard) painted over all the hardware and now it’s caked on so much I can’t even get the screws off to replace them. All the door hinges, door handles, ALL power points, even the kitchen bench have paint on it. How much of a sped do you have to be to not take off the few screws or tape it up?

Stop normalising this behaviour, landlords included. It’s just a pain in the arse for the next person because you wanted to save on 10 dollars of painters tape.
