Staying in Hotels in Osaka AND Kyoto?
Does anyone have any experience/advice on staying in both Osaka+Kyoto, rather than staying in one or the other?
My wife and I are doing 3.5 days in Osaka, 3 days in Kyoto, plus a day trip each to Hiroshima and Nara, before going to Tokyo. I know most, if not everyone, just stay in one or the other, but I'm wondering with the 3 days in Kyoto plus day trip to Hiroshima, if staying in Kyoto will be better for the second half of our time there.
Is it worth the hassle of moving hotels after 3 nights to save ~2 hours of commuting per day?
