This watch is from 1962. It does have one issue — the pusher to quick-set the date is not working.
I recently bought this old Citizen Seven Star. It runs great but the crystal was so scratched and pitted that it was hard to see the dial.
I cleaned this up using wet sanding and polishing. It still has some pits, but the dial is much more readable.
I’m a little undecided about whether I should keep this crystal or track down a new one. Part of me likes the imperfections.
