Gifted "wild garlic" years ago but don't trust ID and never ate

Someone planted this is on our property (Southern Québec, Canada) and it comes back every year in a little patch. Was told it's wild garlic but let's just say I didn't really trust the person who gave it to us would actually know that lol Also it looks nothing like garlic to me.

It has a faint onion smell when I crush the leaves. Have not consumed, so no idea of taste. The leaves are flat with a fold in the middle.

We've recently completed a trio genetic test for my child (with me and my spouse's DNA).

We will be meeting with the genetic counselor soon to go over the results (which we haven't received yet, we will get them at that time).

In the meantime, the genetic counselor said that they may have found something that "could" be a "variant of unclear clinical significance" and that we would need further tests to determine if that is the case.

I guess I'm just curious, what other tests are there? I was under the impression that this trio testing is already the most comprehensive test that checks the whole DNA of the patient+parents? Or perhaps I misunderstood and the further testing would not be related to genetic testing at all?
