I found a bunch of radio transmitters and various military stuff at a garage sale last weekend. this was one of many cool things. tomorrow I will try to post a curious find, I got something that looks like a modern PC tower, except the interior components are tubes and various electronic parts, and on one side of the tower it has 4 or 5 gauges. the PC tower looking thing has handles on the top sides, meant to be carried occasionally, though definitely not portable. reminds me of what the computer onboard a b-52 or something like that would look like, but I really have no idea at all. I will get pictures tomorrow.. there’s also a ton of radio devices they are about 6x8x10” in size and all seem to have a single gauge or two on the front, and say different things like “transmitter”. I’m going to post pictures of all this stuff tomorrow when it’s light outside.
anyways anyone have any clue what the value on this chest unit would be? I couldn’t find any in eBay’s 3 month history, so I figure I’ve got a treasure. my dad told me he’s seen pictures of officers in ww1 wearing these?
