I'm posting this in hopes that it helps someone else in my position.
I left my purse with my passport on a Transavia flight after landing at the Orly Paris airport. I just had a lot of things and missed grabbing it. I didn't realize until I left security.
Transavia was the opposite of helpful when I went to their counter. The Tourism Information office was great at pointing me in the right direction, it's located on the ground floor right outside baggage claim of Orly 3. They told me to head to the phone with the suitcase/luggage sign above it and ask them to contact the gate agents. The baggage service people were so helpful!
I believe there would be a similar phone/sign situation outside of most baggage claim areas at this and other airports.
Anyways, this is embarrassing but I hope this information helps someone in a similar situation.
