not often seen opinion: AVA is falling into the unfortunate jaw of fan service influencing the plot
so in the latest AVA episode, they revealed that TDL survived and returned, I have, a few problems with this.

TDL's return is a big problem for our antagonist, Victim, mainly, I anticipate that he is going to, either intentionally or unintentionally, give Victim a "get out of jail free card" on whatever he does, now, I know what you may be thinking, "just because he's being manipulated doesnt mean Victim's agency as a character will be removed", however, I think this will be an issue that will arise mainly for one reason, i already see a symptom
Victims motive has been and always should've been revenge, not reviving Mitsi, and TDL's promises SHOULDNT change that, thats mainly because I refuse to believe that TDL was NEVER ONCE shown on any newspapers associated with the newgrounds attack, considering HE WAS THE ONE MAINLY DOING IT, somebody must've caught them if they were able to accuse TCO, so Victim should know who TDL is, and shouldnt trust him at all considering he was equally involved in KILLING HIS WIFE!!!! This presents an issue, either
A. have Victim refuse TDL's deal last second (horribly contrived twist)
B. retcon the newgrounds attack and what we know about it to TDL stalking in the shadows while TCO does all the work (ruins TDL's pure evil image)
C. present victim as AN IDIOT who didnt see any papers relating to TDL and didnt suspect him at all
this plot hole makes the alliance very unbelievable, contrived, and unrealistic, and lowers engagement for me
- lack of foreshadowing
it really bothers me that this wasnt really foreshadowed until the episode it happened, instead of having further foreshadowing in past episodes, such as maybe the cameras misteriously being visible in the forest or in places they shouldnt be
these changes wouldve made his return much less sudden and more impactful
- how i would've done it
some fixes that couldve been made
A. include papers of TDL in victims wall of papers
B. have the cameras appearing in town, the forest, and during the season's opening chase, with more showing up as we close in on the reveal
C. have TDL be more toxic and threatening to H4CK3R, have them threaten H4CK3R along with his promises, this would make the alliance much more believable since fear would be a factor in the agreement
i think this really spells a bad omen for the rest of the season, hopefully it doesnt spoil like milk, but i dont have high hopes
