Hi! I’ve been knitting for about 7 months, and this is definitely the most challenging pattern I’ve tried so far.

I’m at the step where the front and back are joined, but I don’t see any instructions about joining the straps. Did I miss something, or are the straps meant to be joined at this point?

Has anyone made this pattern and can clarify?

I’ve included the next step and then the part about the arm hole edges later in the latter
