Hi, looking for some advice please!
I currently work full time as a paralegal at a fairly good and medium sized law firm.
My plan was to do my two years QWE and quit to focus on SQE full-time, however, since getting the job I’ve noticed how few roles are cropping up and so I’m now re-thinking this plan. I’m concerned that if I quit I won’t be able to get a role (at least for a while) and that me having done the SQE will make me less attractive to paralegal roles as they’ll know I’ll leave as soon as I’m offered a TC.
I’m therefore considering doing the ULaw part-time, weekend prep course (self-funded so no LLM). Has anyone done sqe part time? Is it really that awful or not if I put the work in? Also, has anyone done the part-time weekend course at ULaw? How many hours actually is it and is it both days of the weekend or just one?
