Awful sleepover experience

My daughter (7) had a friend sleepover over for the second time last night. Mary (fake name) has slept over once before. About 11 30 last night, she wanted to talk to her dad (he's the only parent). It took 5 tries before he answered. They talked and she was okay. About 20 minutes later, she wanted her dad. I called him 30 times no joke. He. Never. Answered. This is a medically complex child. She has spent time in a children's hospital multiple times. She eventually told me she could go to sleep about midnight. She fell asleep next to my daughter in bed while I rubbed her hair and read a story. Poor girl could not get close enough to me last night while she wanted her dad. Face buried in my neck while she cuddled in my lap.

Dad was supposed to come get her before 10 this morning. 10 45 I called him and he sounded groggy saying he was just leaving. He called 15 minutes later saying he was halfway to my house. He showed up in the same clothes he wore yesterday with no apologies for not answering the phone no excuses. I'm not sure if I ever want the girl at a sleepover again.
