Dear RH community!
I am desperate… I am DNFing books like it’s an Olympic sport. Or I am reading through but looking at the page numbers in hope that the story will end soon.
I need something unknown, something that is under the radar but thrilling.
I have read about everything single rec that has been popular for the last 18 months at least. Both here and on Booktok but Booktok can get bent. So much bullshit is pushed through there. Here I know there are amazing people with amazing taste.
The last series I genuinely liked was {Time After Time by Reese Rivers} because of the time traveling plot that, to me, was novel. I also enjoyed the emotional trauma from {Tormented Omega by Mary Magdalyn} but really disliked book 2.
I have read about monsters, aliens, shifters, vampires, OV, mafia, contemporary, fantasy, fluffy, angsty, dark. You name it, I’ve probably read it (I have about 1350 books on my Kindle).
I have very few triggers apart from seriously mentally ill FMCs. By this I mean so traumatized that she doesn’t really comprehend what is happening to her and the MMCs take advantage of her.
And I hate to admit this but I can’t have MM in the harem. That is something I have actively tried to change but it’s just not my yum unfortunately.
I need a well written book that will give me back the pleasure of reading. It can be RH/why-choose or MF, dark or light, full of triggers or just fluff. I want all the feels. And Ms. Angst Bank: I adore you for your lists!
