Just a rant bc I can’t believe this even happened and I’m still so upset.
I just found out that someone has been copy and pasting my fic for the past 4 years from AO3 to WattPad. They change my OC’s name and the way I spell James’s nickname but thats it. They even kept all my authors notes including ones about my mental health.
I’m livid.
I’ve already posted my next chapter with my rage letter at the bottom of it but like do I report their WattPad? It gives the option of reporting it for copyright infringement but it’s a fanfic. That’s such a gray area already and I want them to at least let the followers they have know that I’m still writing the story.
that’s it. I just can’t stop thinking about it (it’s been about 4 hours since I found it) and needed to vent a little more.
