I found a cd drive (an apple one, like the one in the picture) in my house the other day and tried burning a few cds onto my imac which worked fine. However, it's pretty inconvenient to have to be at my desk while I burn them. The problem is that my only apple computer is that imac and my laptops are a windows and a chromebook (with linux). The imac eats the cd normally and can burn/rip it easily, but when I plug the cd drive into either of the laptops it just refuses to let the cd go in all the way. Is there a way to fix this?
