Hi everyone!

This might be a stupid question but I've never flown with qatar before. I've flown with Etihad and, at the time, they had similar restrictions regarding carry-on weight and size allowance that were not enforced at all (at least not with me).

Does anyone know if they're strict with measurements or weight? I'm planning on taking a Samsonite carry-on that's designed to fit in most measurement frames (I know this from experience) and a laptop bag/purse. I'm just worried they'll be super nit-picky about the exact dimensions and weight. Do they only weigh the bags at check-in or do they weigh them at the gate as well? Has anyone ever had trouble with standard sized carry-ons?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
