Is my oral surgeon being honest about a “fang like protrusion” - said he never seen it before?

Ibackstory: I had 6 on 6 implants placed at a highly recommended local dental practice, I didn’t have many teeth left on the top but still had most of bottom teeth. The surgeons other younger oral surgeon that he was mentoring did a bad molar extracted, and I had saved 50,000$ up and so I asked him then could they do full mouth implants because I’ve been to a lot of dentists and these were the most talented maybe a littleon the pricey side for all work but thought I wld try to get 4 on 4 zirconia but the oral surgeon being mentored said yes and I got a solid verbal agreement they could in fact do full zirconia for 50k. I called back about 30 days later bc i had just had 4 kidney operations (stents, laser lithotripsy for stones, new stent, stent removal) and when I was being put under they hit a tooth a little at hospital and it broke, I knew my teeth were bad, so I called after the last surgery and told them I just finished having these and a tooth broke can you extract it and do the implants will you honor the verbal agreement and we can write up a contract and get started. At first the front office came back and said no that was just a verbal agreement. I told them ok, well I understand I will look around and see if I can get them done somewhere, but if they change their minds let me know I was ready to roll. 3 days passed I got a call they agreed and sent a written agreement/ contract with the first visit requiring 3100, they would do 3D laser scans of my mouth, Impressions, Another CB-CT scan even though I had one two months before, extract the broken tooth, and place a bone graft and start me on antibiotics for 3100$ which they require to start the process which comes out of the 50000. After doing this, they came back and sent me a new contract for 56,000 and I told them the prior agreement / contract I had written up was bc I have had bad experiences where dentists come back for more and the contract said no matter what was required they would do the full zirconia. He said that the problem was he wasn’t really comfortable with 4 on 4 and that I would need two zygomatic implants and it just wouldn’t work 4 on 4. I showed him the original contract the office signed and he honored it. I came in a week later, also he was one of only 2 dentists in entire state that was certified to use a dental guided Yomi robot for high precision after programming a plan into it and on site lab, had the procedure and they did fantastic job.

Here is my question: about 2 months post op I felt a kinda pointy bump near top of gums on top near tooth 11. They did another CB-CT and said it was a piece of bone it would work its way out but the oral surgeon never saw me. Then I finally got my final pair which is Zirconia and I told them it was bothering me and painful when brushing even with extra soft so this time he sat next to me and we looked at the CT slides together (I can look at one and scroll through and read them to a degree). It was tooth #11 and it looked like a small fang that started near top of socket and was angled outwards and is near the middle between lip where gum starts and bottom imiggand pushing gum tissue kinda because it’s pointy. Now before he pulled it up I heard boney spicule or spur when they were talking then as we looked he said he had NEVER seen anything like it that my bone graft was healing but it healed backwards and grew out but from how it looks and the way a bone spur or spicule looks they sound identical and I even saw pictures of ppl who had similar problem and theirs were spurs that never resolved.

Was he bullshitting me? I dunno I’m supposed to go back in bc when I had temporary I ate a ton of different soft food but now a chicken sandwhiches or burger or sub presses against it and have an appt for him to setup removal and get me my night guard for clenching and grinding and to get that fixed and to make one adjustment to my final set (got them February early in month). From my research it sounds like it’s an unresolved bone spur, at the time with temps it didn’t bother me an he seemed to think it wasn’t a big issue but I could get it taken care of if I wanted. I’m very satisfied with all the work he did and honoring the price like I almost cried and gave him a huge hug after I got my first temp healing acrylic pair and thanked him, but something about this is weird couldnt he be right? He said he never saw anything like it which is whats got me confused bc bone spurs actually can look exactly like it and occur in same manner, so I’m just wandering what any professionals think? It makes me wander if he was just try to deal with it til warranty on work expires and they knew about it since 2nd month, and they never made me a night guard? I asked cpl times and was told it would be made when I got final zirconia that I didn’t need it ruuy
