quick play is worse than comp. i'm being matched w eternity players
I complain about rivals a lot, not really over here since I don't use Reddit often enough to justify it but I'm at my limit. This past week alone, every quick play match I've played, I'm stuck playing against celestial and eternity players, that are more often than not squaded. This might be what genuinely makes me quit and quit for good. I'm over it man. I can handle overtuned busted characters when they're at least on my skill level, but I'm going up against people who peak eternity, casually sit in celestial, and smurf my peak (D2). I don't even LIKE playing comp (at least not by myself) so I stick to quick play but it's genuinely insufferable. It's 3-4 champions on the enemy team minimum and if they don't leave spawn that way, they sure as shit will swap to their champion character if my team starts doing somewhat well. God forbid I get 2 elims on Johnny or Black Cat and here comes the champion Wanda/Punisher or Thing, Emma. And then dive is fucking relentless. It's Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Black Panther EVERY GAME and it's the same shit. They're all champions, and if they're not, trust they'll be champion on another. And it doesn't matter if I swap to help peel because my team is dead before I can assist. I can't push up on tank because I'm constantly babysitting backline, I can barely heal my team because here comes the enemyThor, Iron Fist, and Magik, and I can't even look at the enemy team on dps because I'm stuck trying to help peel the dps off my backline. And I watch high elo players sometimes, I get that this is how the game works at the highest level BUT I'M NOT THAT AND NEITHER IS MY TEAM. Am I being matched with these people because I recently hit level 100?? I dunno, I don't expect sympathy or anyone to even read this, I think I'm just done with this game as a whole. And yeah, yeah "don't let the door hit you on the way out" or whatever but I really did have a lot of passion for Rivals since before it launched and it just kinda sucks that I dread queuing and spend most of my time in the practice range or practice doom match. It was my favorite game. I don't even know why I'm writing this. I guess I just wanted to vent and see if anyone else was having this issue or something.
