I started cycling in February of this year. I have a Walmart bike (I didn’t want to purchase an expensive bike till I knew I would stick to biking) I quickly fell in love. I am up to 13 miles per ride.

I am looking around for a road bike that can handle longer rides. I am 5’1, 120 lbs. i’m starting to look at Facebook market and craigslist. But there’s so many different types of bikes and I’m not sure which ones would fit me.

Looking for advice and suggestions. I know I don’t want to spend more than 500 till I can learn more, maintaining a bike, fixing a bike, etc.

I see a lot of trek bikes but I am clueless right now.
