You're all going to think I'm crazy. I have a '96 Geo Tracker I bought about a year ago. It's a lot of fun. I like when people compliment my car and call it a Suzuki Sidekick, or even a Samurai. I live in Queens, NYC. Very often, when I'm signaling to make the left turn off the main street to go down the side street to my driveway, my turn signal starts blinking twice as fast as usual, and sort of erratically. I've read that this behavior is often an indicator that a relay or the signal bulb could be going bad, but it only happens when I am making this specific turn. It's like my car is excited to get home. I've tried turning the signal back on after making the turn and it's back to normal. I thought it might be that while I'm waiting for the intersection to clear, I could be causing some alternator funny business by engaging the power steering pump at the same time that I'm using the turn signal, but I must do the same thing at many intersections. Has anyone else experienced this? I've noticed other sorts of electrical interference at intersections in NYC, like my bluetooth headphones losing signal when I'm crossing a street at a crosswalk.
