Just bought a Canon T90!

I've been looking to upgrade from my Olympus OM10, which I've been using for about a year now, which was a replacement for a broken Spotmatic, and I really wanted something "professional".

At £90 with a 6 month warranty, the Canon T90 seemed cheaper/better value than the other cameras I was looking at (Nikon FM, F4, FA and the Canon F-1).

Bar having to clean the focusing screen and mirror, and re-magnetise the shutter it works perfectly.

I bought it for an upcoming backpacking trip, for which the T90 isn't the lightest option, but I wanted something with a better light meter than my OM10, Rollie 35T or Olympus LT-1 so I could confidently shoot some slide film.

The camera came with a 35-70mm f3.5-4.5 zoom and I have a Tamron Adaptall 2 28mm f2.5 to use with it as well! I'm going to buy either a 50mm f1.4 or 50mm f1.2, but I'm not sure if the f1.2 is worth the extra £100.

Please share any recommendations for good FD lenses or accessories for the T90 or any experiences with the T90 in general! They would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
