Apologies if this is a common question. On a Friday in June my family (including a 3 year old) are travelling over on the Eurostar in the morning and we are taking the late afternoon train to Milan, so travelling between Gare du Nord and Gare de Lyon. I’ll already be in Paris and am staying near Oberkampf station.
We’d like to have a nice lunch in Paris on the way to the train - we were hoping to go to Rigmarole where we’ve been before but it’s closed at the moment and I don’t have a good sense of the other options. My daughter is a relatively unfussy eater and can be easily entertained in a restaurant so outside of Michelin-y places I’m less worried about that.
Does anyone have any recommendations for places either by the train stations, or in a sensible breaking off point between the two (or in the area between the 3rd and 11th arrondismonts)? Should we just find a bistro?
