I talked to a clinic and they told me I was morbidly obese and need to be on GLP-1s, but they quoted me just shy of $1000 for the whole journey. Is that normal?

So I am completely new to this and have around $1000 to spend. I am morbidly obese so I need to get my weight under control. The thing is, I just discovered this sub through the group after a friend invited me, and I asked about this there https://discord.gg/wUt5FzSA6j, ah I tried to link it to our exact convo there but it's not working.

Almost everyone right away said that I got my math wrong and that the sources they share there have way less expensive stuff compared to what I have been quoted at a telehealth clinic. I do not know if it is against the rules to name the clinic here, but that is where I got my $1000 budget from. I guess I am just trying to confirm if they are right or if I should just go with the clinic. I am kind of torn right now so I would appreciate any advice.

I'm on Mounjaro 10mg. I eat about half of what I used to. Not because I'm restricting but because I'm genuinely full after 6-8 bites. At family dinners, my mother-in-law watches me push food around my plate. Last weekend she asked, loudly, at the table: "Are you eating enough? You've lost so much weight. We're worried about you." I explained I'm on medication that affects my appetite. She looked skeptical. Later, I heard her whispering to my sister-in-law about "disordered eating." I don't want to disclose my full medical history to everyone. But I also don't want them to think I'm starving myself. My portion sizes look pathological from the outside.
