Put $500 into a 529 at WF 7 years ago for a nephew's first bday w/ no additional contributions. Since you have to provide a beneficiary DOB, I assumed it made assumptions about expected graduation date and rebalance accordingly. The account has doubled in 7 years which is great. The account is 92% equities and 8% bonds at 7.5 risk. The risk adjustment says it's on an auto glide path, basically advising don't adjust it yourself.
If you've done a 529 at WF, at what point is this thing going to start winding down more meaningfully? When your beneficiary turned 18 did the account mature to fully stable value?
Looking at my state's glide path equivalent for a 2036 college enrollment, it's at 57.xx% equity and 42.xx% bonds.
