341 questions asked

I finished my 341 meeting on wednesday. We were asked quite a few questions, as my spouse and I filed together. We had both been self employed so there were questions about any assets leftover, anyone who may owe us money, why did businesses close, how we spent our taxes, and about some of the large financial transactions (my husband sold a friend's car for them), and also what we would list our home for. The trustee said the tax assessors value is on the low end of a valuation, although properties on my street have closed for less than that. Either way we used oregon exemptions and got to keep the home.

We had 3 accounts receivable (we in-house financed these vehicles and customers stopped making payments) that totaled around 6-7k if the trustee pursued it, but still ruled us a no asset case.

Now we wait 30 days to see if any creditors object, and once in the clear we can file a motion to get one of the creditors' lien off our home. I just wish I could fast forward time!
