Is this considered a lottery winner?
I recently completed a build with a PNY RTX 5080 OC. The plan one with no RGB. I’ve run stress tests and did a small undervote ( mwaterinpsus) without overclocking it.
It’s paired with;
9950x3d
Msi x870e-p pro WiFi
Vengeance 32gb RAM 6000
Corsair AIO
And mix of fans ( fractal case fans, Corsair fans, and noctua fans.
Is there any real reason to upgrade from PNY? GPU do something like the Asus tug? Other than build quality and upgraded vapor chamber spending an extra $400 on the Tuf seems to be a small return.
What variable would have to happen for it to make sense spending the extra money.
Temps seem to be goo around 65c and fan noise doesn’t bother. Not that loud in general.
I’m still working on failing the fan curve on the whole build in general.
Recently built a new PC and I would like to get the advantages of under bolting BUT I’ve never done it before. I don’t want to push any boundaries too far. Just something that will yield the benefit without risking components health.
Could anyone help or explain how to do it?
TIA!
