Isn't there any solution for these AI extensions being used for cheating in OAs and Interviews?
The final year is about to end. Those who were meant to be placed are placed. Those who were not are yet not placed. Placements of the core this year were far much better than CSE and allied branches. 🙂
In my particular Batch 50% of crowd is yet unplaced or working in a local startup. I have seen all this year. How luck is working out for people who didn't put in any effort at all and getting opportunities better than people who have been working hard this whole time...LeetCode, Codeforces, Contests. We all had anticipated they're going to get the best packages out there. But by the end of the year I'm going to tell you the scenarios.
People who never attended any CP contests...never made a real project are placed in IBM, Infosys, Amazon, HashedIn and a lot more. How??? Projects were vibecoded, OAs were coded using AI extensions... literally there exists thousands of AI extensions which are not traceable by platforms like HackerRank and all other Browser based platforms. Dude there is one tool...I don't remember the exact name but something like "Xtension.in", it's not even visible in meet or zoom calls during interviews and 2000 the cost of doing fraud in India, and I'm still surprised these hiring platforms have not been able to crack it yet. 🙄
People who were honest have either maxed their Luck during a physical interview or they're fu**ed.
