I am trying to set up a system and don't know power cord lengths on pumps. I am looking at a Vivosun that says "800GPH, 3000L 24W,Max Lift:10ft". System reservoir would be on ground below a porch about 4 feet, buckets and tubes would be on porch. So total from base of reservoir to bucket drippers about 6 feet. Minimum from the power would be 7-8 feet, would be much more convenient to have at least 10 feet. otherwise I have to figure out how to return from the buckets, if not piped dropping straight into reservoir.

I finally found (from Hoocho) how to use fabric pots in hydroponics. I have lots of those, so I am trying to figure out how to use them and set up a system. I have no float valves- is there a recommended place to get them, or is it just who has a cheaper one on ebay? Anyone familiar with a float valve box, or do I find out how to print his design?
Also, if I am setting up a tower or dutch buckets, with a drip system, what is the recommended drip rate for the emitters? I have a bunch of those as well, maybe 30. I think they may be 0.5 gph. I can get others, or just use the tube by itself.
Should the buckets and pots be filled with 40/60 coco/perlite mix, or straight perlite?
I am putting lettuce and small greens in kratky bottles, 1 gallon. Strawberries in multi-space pots and a "Mr Stacky" I am figuring out how to put over a bucket reservoir. I have a large number of 4 inch PVC pipes, so I am trying to figure out the best way to set up those while my seeds start.
A lot of this will be set up outdoors, so will the mosquito donuts or bits interfere with nutrients in any way? I guess I have to add those multiple times during the season, I have had to do that everywhere anyway.
Masterblend- I got the lettuce and tomato nutes, but the strawberry formula was only available in an ginormously sized bag. I would never use that in any reasonable time. Would tomato formula be ok for strawberries at the correct EC?
