Here is my take: Muichiro is not as weak as is stupid.
When people say that Muichiro was blitzed and Sanemi not i think they are not seeing something, that Kokushibo could have absoluty blitzed Sanemi as he did with Muichiro at any moment. When he attacks Tokito he was willing to deal a fatal wound as his intention was to disable and turn him into a demon, when Sanemi arrives he is just teasing him and literally took a single attack to put him at the edge of dying.
Muichiro commit the exact same mistake as in his other fights, he rush an enemy that he doesnt know and then he got blitzed. He might be braindead but he unlocked the mark the first, the stw and the red blade and all that mid fight.
A serious marked Tokito low diffs base Sanemi.
This is the best way to portray any character in any media, and you know it.

I have been seeing a lot of takes about base hashiras low diffing Gyutaro so:
-He has the poison (very important)
-Its in the district but 1v1
-Mitsuri is a bum.

How i think that makes sense to scale them based on what we see, and if your hair is or not pink.
