Hello all. I am a current 24 Integra A-spec owner. Love this car and naturally, like a few A-spec owners, I dream of getting a Type-S one day.
Here is my question; with the upcoming AI surveillance that will be mandated to be in place by auto-manufactures by 2027, surely we (the public), will find ways around this right?
I am sure the manufactures will make it not easily beatable, like sticking a piece of tape over a camera facing the driver type of thing. There are probably going to be included provisions within the mandate to make this hard to "jailbreak".
I know this broaches picking political sides and some people will welcome this with open arms. I am not one of those people. I would sacrifice purchasing a Type -S, or any vehicle past 2027, if it included surveillance tracking that I could not defeat.
What are your thoughts on this? Not so much opinions on the mandate, but opinions on how hard or easy to break the system will be.
