I'm currently a 4th grade teacher with a degree in political science. Before that, I was a paraprofessional at another elementary school and a data entry specialist for a non-profit. I realized education is not my calling and was considering becoming a paralegal. Is it possible to do that in the state of Texas, do I have to start off as a legal assistant first, or do I need other things to have a chance of moving into this career field?
