Hi! I’m just hoping for some guidance in selection of my second year discipline. I want to do robotics as a whole as in learn and experience in mech, elec and software, but that’s not something that’s exactly offered at UBC. So I went to Igen as it is inherently multidisciplinary, but there are also several mandatory courses that arent exactly needed for robotics such as the chbe and civil or mining courses. So the second option would be mechatronics which I didn’t apply to early and would have to compete for in mech in third year.
I do have guaranteed placement, any advice helps, thanks!
