Feeling Stupid

I’m a fresh graduate mechanical engineer who feels he has lack of knowledge. My electives were in: (FEA, Materials science, advanced manufacturing tachneques, mechanical vibrations) so I feel strong and confident in simulations and analysis but other than that I feel very stupid. I’m currently doing my second internship with a big company that works in power generation and I feel lost since I didn’t take the turbo-machinery elective course in uni and I don’t feel like a proper mechanical engineer yet. Help:(

Fresh Graduate Thinking of Taking a Master Degree

I’m a month away from my graduation in applied mechanical engineering and suddenly I started thinking about taking a master degree. I’m not a nerd or A+ student but I’ve always dreamed experiencing living abroad.

Luckily my country has a program where I could get a paid scholarship with two conditions, having a proof of English language knowledge (through TOEFL or IELTS) and receiving an unconditional approval from one of the top 200 universities they selected. The first condition I could easily achieve it since my whole studies were in English language but I am very concerned that I cannot get an approval from a university. I studied in a university from the top 70 universities in engineering in the world. They were very harsh in grading and this is very well known in the region. I had struggles in grading especially that I’m not strong enough with mathematics (mainly calculus) and numerical problems resulting getting 2.2/4 GPA. I know my it is very difficult to get something with this GPA but I’m passionate about certain topics in mechanical engineering (Material Science, Machine Design, Simulations like FEA, Maintenance and Reliability, Design, etc.) that I want to learn more about.

I want your opinion and honest feedback about my situation and the ability of getting a university approval. Seeking your advice and solutions.
