my partner and I ( dating for almost 7-8 years now, met in college) are in jobs that we both love are not transferable inter state. So if we marry it will be a permanent long distance marriage, where we are posted in two different states.

we could probably meet once a month or twice.

anyone in a similar situation, what are the challenges? any advice. We love each other, but the decision nonetheless feels scary!

Edit- hi guys, idk i was hoping for a more positive response 🤧 don't ppl in army/ navy/ civil services do it? No positive experiences?
