Help: Tracking Down This Bangkok Restaurant/Beautiful Building

I took a Grab from Phrom Phong BTS station to the Fashion Island shopping mall in Ram Inthra, and somewhere along the way (and before we got onto the expressway) we passed by a gorgeous and large restaurant(?) with wooden details and an ornate Chinese-style roof. This place looked like it would seat hundreds of people, and appeared to be old, or at least weathered. It had dark wood details on the outside and was at least two floors, possibly three or four (but no more than that). I don't know if it was still in operation or not (we passed by very late at night, but the sign was lit). I couldn't see inside too well, so I can only really identify it from outside. The first floor was a concrete parking lot with the wooden structure above that. Can anyone help me find this place?

I've been pacing through Google Maps street view all day with no luck, and I'm not giving up, I want to find this so much that I've got to ask for help. I've been searching through restaurant listings and have come up dry. Maybe it doesn't have a strong online presence?

I think we encountered this place before crossing the Sorat Expressway, but I admit, I'm not sure. I know we weren't halfway to Fashion Island when I saw it, so I don't think it's north of Lat Phrao Rd. We were definitely at street level, and passed right by this place--I didn't see it from a distance.

The name of the restaurant was not written with Chinese characters, and was "(something something) Khan", or "(something something) Kaan". I know there was at least one "S" in the name, I think something like "Soon Kaan". There were three or four words total in the name.

I tried to take a photo with my phone and use the location of the photo to track this place down, but the location registered was just the Phrom Phong station--it didn't update my location accurately while riding (somewhat comforting to know the tracking is inaccurate while moving at motorbike speed). Unfortunately, I also didn't get a photo of the building itself, as I was worried I'd drop my phone.

I really want to find this place, it was remarkably beautiful and if it's still operating I'd like to visit and take friends.
