Why do people buy TLOU games?

If only thing matters and is canon are cutscenes, then why don't people just watch all cutscenes in youtube instead of wasting your 60 dollars for the same cutscenes but with bloated filler gameplay sections, which are not even canon?

The last of us part 2 is an objectively bad game.

It fails to do the most basic requirement in video games integrating gameplay and narrative.

How is it believable that the main character kills 100s of people throughout the game in self-defense but she would lose her humanity, if she would kill just another person.

She never has any problem of killing people in tlou1 at age 14, how does she has in just that moment?
