The Concept: You play as a government forensic analyst trapped in a sterile, grayscale office. Your job is to process surveillance data to stop a militia from attacking the city.
The Gameplay:
Stationary Investigation: You never leave your desk. You use a grainy laptop for audio analysis/CCTV scrubbing, a fax machine for intelligence reports, and a physical "murder board" to pin evidence and string clues together
The Daily Ritual: Every morning starts with a mandatory pill. It stabilizes your vision and wipes your stress
The "Invisible" Boss: You never see your boss's face. He enters the room during blackouts, his presence felt only through heavy footsteps, a cold voice in the dark, and high-tension dialogue.
The Hint Mechanic: If you're stuck, you can "Close Eyes" to take a nap. You'll see a brief, violent flash of a memory that gives you a clue, but you wake up with permanent visual glitches and "ghost" sounds that make your job harder.
The Twist (The "Hook"): As the days pass, your pill supply runs out. The visual "glitches" stop being bugs and start being memories. You realize you aren't investigating these attacks to stop them—you’re the one who carried them out. You aren't a detective; you’re a Trojan Horse. You’ve been sent into the heart of the agency to get close enough to the Boss for a final assassination.
The Ending: The game doesn't end with a boss fight. It ends with a blackout. You hear your chair slide back, your footsteps down the hall, the Boss’s door opening, and a single, final gunshot.
"The Boss isn't just a bureaucrat—he’s corrupt and grieving. He pulled strings to take the case because the victims were his own family. He thinks he’s using you to get revenge, but he doesn't realize the Militia gave him those clues to lure him in. By the time he realizes the investigation is a setup, you’re already standing outside his office door."
Day 1 Example: The Subway Incident The Mission: A bomb went off in a building owned by the Boss’s brother. Your objective is to find out where the device was assembled and who "John" (the primary suspect) is. The Acoustic Lead: You have a recording from the attack. Hidden in the background is a specific "Industrial Clanking" sound. You scrub through five different city surveillance tapes until you find a match: a Subway Maintenance Tunnel. The Forensic Trail: You pull the CCTV from that subway station. You spot a man with a suspicious bag entering a restricted door. By cross-referencing his Subway Access Card, you trace his identity to a specific residential address. The "Success": The address belongs to John, a low-level worker. You report the location, and "John" is arrested immediately. The Boss is impressed; he gives you a promotion and a "Senior" security clearance, moving you into the high-security wing of the building. The Hidden Reality: As you "solve" the day and the screen fades to black, you hear a memory of that same "Industrial Clanking"—but this time, you hear your own voice giving John the bag, and a name of someone involved to lead you to the next day.
