I throw a wide range of swimbaits/glidebaits. I primarily throw Chad Shads, Draws, MagDrafts, Traces due to rod restrictions. I currently use my musky setup to throw the heavier glides and swims the issue with this setup is its HEAVY. Like i cast for a hour and want to call it because my arms are worn out. I did some research and it seems a lot of people recommend getting a swimbait rod. Specifically the Leviathan Omega. That rod is 400 dollars and while i can afford it the question becomes should i get it? Will it help me fish longer? What are the pros and cons of a swimbait rod?
