I remember the feeling of awe I felt when I first bought this game in 2017. It was right around the time I had just gotten my first MacBook for my 13th birthday and this was the first game I bought on steam. The feeling of running through these beautiful pixelated landscapes and taking in all the lore, enemies, background art, music, while dashing and shooting my way through hordes of enemies... it was phenomenal. I still go back and play it to this day for the dopamine hit. I've never really experienced any other game with this art direction and musical ambience. Really wish there were more titles on the market like it.

Was studying for my midterm and came across these slides. Wish I had gone to class that day... What do you guys think about her questions?

First off, I know I am breaking the rules by posting art that is not mine. I in no way want to claim ownership over this art (by Shinjoku13designs). It was rather my goal to ask people who are more knowledgeable than me a question about pixel art. I found all of these on Pinterest and thought they were really beautiful. I want to get into learning pixel art and this is the specific aesthetic I like the most. Starting as a complete novice with a lot of motivation how long do you think making art like this would take? Doable within a year or two??
