Hello.
My parrot is sick (cherry red headed conure). She had a stroke and her right side is very weak. She cannot sit on round branches anymore because she falls. Round branches are not safe for her right now.
I made her cage flat like a floor so she can walk and sleep easily. Right now she sleeps on a cardboard cat scratcher. It is flat and she likes it, but it does not help her nails. Her nails are getting too long.
She is very scared when I try to cut her nails. I don't want to stress her out because she is still healing.
Does anyone know where I can buy a large enough, flat perch that is comfy enough to sit on but also help trim her nails? It needs to be big enough for her to sleep on and rough enough to file her nails down while she sits on it at night.
I bought her these but I am not sure if it will be healthy to sleep on for 8-10 hours. I am worried her feet will start hurting.
